Wordful Wednesday - Graduation Party

The LoganFatheadMannequin has tatas!

Because Logan and Adam graduated Friday evening we didn't celebrate that night.  But, we did have a gathering for them in our home on Saturday.  Our house isn't big by any means so we had the shindig outdoors.  I'd say close to 35 people showed up.

Adam and MaKynzee with the Logan "Fathead"

I had ordered "Fatheads" of both Logan and Adam.  Their faces were so enlarged that you could see every hair, pimple, and pore.  I also ordered personalized graduation suckers from the same company.

There was plenty of food to go around.  Some of the menu offerings were pulled pork, baby back ribs, hot dogs, cornbread, deviled eggs, pasta salad, and potato chips.  There wasn't much left in the end.

Cupcakes surrounded by sugar wafers

Because I'm a tightwad, I didn't want to spend an ungodly amount on a graduation cake that probably wasn't going to get fully eaten.  So I instead purchased lemon, strawberry, and red velvet cupcakes as dessert.  Logan and Adam received their own graduation cookies.

We brought out the Bags and Washers games for everyone to play.  Those are always fun go-to games.

It wasn't an elaborate event but it went over well.  The boys had a great time, and that's what matters.

Adam's "Fathead" is photo bombing Logan and his girlfriend.  #StalkerMuch

Looks like a great party! And a great idea on the cupcakes. We've been doing more cupcakes than cakes ourselves. So much easier to serve and eat and less wasteful. Congrats to the recent grads!
