My Review:
I've been a blogger for eight years now. I've had to learn a lot of HTML and other coding on my own. And, there's still a lot more for me to discover.
Although Get Coding! is geared towards kids 9-12 years of age, I have learned so much from it myself. The book is divided into different sections that teach HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding skills. Illustrated characters - Dr. Day, Ernst, and Professor Bairstone - help show the way. Tasks and instructions to build a web page, create a password, code an app, make a game, and more are included. I won't lie, I'm still confused by some of the information but, overall, Get Coding! is very helpful and descriptive with its explanations. I will be keeping this book as an educative reference when my kids or I need to work with coding on computers.
Win It!One person will win a Get Coding! Learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and Build a Website, App, and Game book.
