Sally Hansen Miracle Gel - Review

I received products for review from Sally Hansen.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

I used to not paint my nails very often.  Once in a while, I'd give it a go but I'd end up making more of a mess than anything. The polish usually doesn't apply evenly and it ends up chipping or smearing in no time flat. I discovered Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in late March , and it's changed my mind about painting my nails. No joke!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel™ is the revolutionary #1 no light gel system that is more chip-resistant than regular nail polish.  They say it’s the next best thing to a salon gel manicure (I wouldn't know; I've never had one!)  I acquired two of the newest shades and a bottle of Top Coat.  The colors are very pretty and work well with my wardrobe.  But, even more than that, I actually enjoy painting my nails.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is meant to work with the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat.  For best results, you should first make sure your nails are clean and dry.  And, if you want to push cuticles back, go for it!  I usually don't go that far (as evidenced in my picture!)  The Miracle Gel is meant to be applied first.  Choose what color you want, and apply it to each nail twice.  Then, apply one coat of the Miracle Gel™ Top Coat.  Let it dry, then admire your nails with the pretty colors and high shine.

There are several reasons that I'm so giddy about Sally Hansen Miracle Gel.  For one, it's easy to apply.  The bristles are flat and don't spread out, so I can get coverage where I want it and none where I don't.  It also gives even application.  For another, it doesn't seem to chip as easily as other nail polishes.  At least, it hasn't for me.   Sally Hansen Miracle Gel lasts approximately a week before I need to reapply.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel has me hooked and it's now at the top of the list as far as beauty products go for me.

In addition to the colors already on the market, there are new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel shades that were recently released:

Adventure Land Collection: Adrenaline Crush, Beet, Pray, Love, Leaf Me Be, Red-Y Set, Run!, Sheer Happiness, Swim Upstream, Wild For Violet.

Romantic Rendezvous Collection: Cabernet With Bae, In The Sheer, Jealous Boyfriend, Love Me Lilac, Orchid-ing Aside, Proper P-rose, Shhhh-immer

Have you tried Sally Hansen Miracle Gel?

I love it too, except that it is ridiculously expensive. I wish that it worked well over normal nail polish.

I haven't tried Sally Hansen's gel polish, but I've tried Essie's and it's great. I love that it doesn't chip so easily. I'll have to check this one out though sometime - love the colors!

No, I haven't tried Sally Hansen Miracle Gel but I'd like. I haven't found a color that I'm crazy about. I'd like to get a soft sparkly pink or white pearl gel. My daughters love gel nail polish but I have yet to try any brand of it. I'm not a big nail polisher for one thing. But...if I find one of these colors then I may try it. :) Good review.

I like this nail polish. And I agree with you about the brush. It is one of the best out there.

I have never tried any of the gel polishes because they required so much extra effort when they first came out. When applied properly, they definitely look fabulous and seem to last longer. I think even polish I get at the Dollar Tree looks good and lasts a good long while if you get some good quick dry top coat. Thanks for your great review on the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. I will definitely give it a try since they have such spectacular colors.
