Book Overview:
Tuck your little one in with the first prayer book from the bestselling A God Bless Book series. With the instantly recognizable art of Steve Whitlow and sweet rhymes of Hannah C. Hall, this book offers a precious way to spend time together as your children thank God for their blessings and drift off to a sound sleep.
Whether the animals ask God for help finding a toy or thank Him for the day’s adventures, God Bless Our Bedtime Prayers will create a special, quiet bedtime routine of prayer and will instill God’s Word in your children’s hearts. The bestselling A God Bless Book series has sold more than 600,000 books, and this newest release in the beloved brand closes the day with precious and heartfelt bedtime prayers.
My Review:
Young children thrive on routine and rituals, and a story at bedtime is one of the best routines to establish. This is a bedtime story that parents can read quickly and children can enjoy. God Bless Our Bedtime Prayers is a padded board book with short prayers. For instance, there's a prayer on asking for showing love to everyone you meet, and a prayer for being comforted when scared. Included with each page is a scripture that pertains to that particular prayer. The narration is told in rhythmic form and the illustrations include adorable animals. This book is delightful way to open children's eyes to the many ways they can pray for themselves and others.
