Zoe drawing pictures inside the camper
For almost a year now my great-nieces and granddaughter have
Gia made sure Trader Jimmy got his fair share of attention.
I finally bit the bullet and quit putting them off. So, one evening after church, I brought Gia, Zoe, and Rahjae home with me to spend the night. Not one of the original plans they came up with came into fruition, but we had a blast regardless.
can't go wrong with a game of UNO
Of course, I stacked up on snacks high in sugar. We ate cupcakes, marshmallows, Fruit Roll-Ups and potato chips. Jason grilled some meat to balance it out. UNO, Candyland, and Hank's Twisted Challenge were games we played several times. For the most part, the girls entertained themselves with ghost stories, Monster High dolls, and sketching pictures.
Three rambunctious girls inside this camper....Help me now!
The coolest part of the sleepover (or at least what the girls thought) was that Jason set our pop-up camper up in the yard. It was their own little getaway house. I ended up sleeping there with them and I'd like to say it went well but I'd be semi-sorta lying. My mid-40s body hated me when I woke up with aches and pains from sleeping all cockeyed. Rahjae and Zoe crammed their little bodies in the bed with me so I didn't have a lot of leg room (or head room, or elbow room).
The girls finally got their request and it was actually quite a good time. Next time I won't wait a year to set another sleepover date.

It looks like fun to me! I should have my nephews over for a sleepover. Two of them are my son's ages, and one is in Kindergarten.
Such a fun day. Looks like you did a great job organizing the sleepover
I can't wait for the day when I have little kids in the family that want to sleep over again. They are all teens now and are too cool for auntie. Glad you all had a wonderful time at the sleepover!
Having a slept over is one of my grandchildren's favorite things to do. enjoy those sleepovers while you can. They grow up fast.
