Foodie Surprise Food Carts - Toy Review

It seems that "surprise" collectible toys are the rage these days.  I'll admit, I see the allure.  I had my great-nephew and great-niece over the other day to play with Foodie Surprise Food Carts, a candy-making collectible.  We all had a good time "making" pepperoni pizzas and the kids were excited they got a toy out of the deal too.

I recommend that adult supervision be used when younger kids play with Foodie Surprise.  That's only because there's some instructions and disassembly that are required.  Upon opening the package, kids will see which Food Cart they receive. Kids will discover a variety surprise ingredients and supplies that will let them create their own edible candy

some of the ingredient packets and items needed for the gummy candy

The ingredients and supplies needed to create the gummy candy are located inside the plastic cart, so it has to be taken apart first to get the items.  It's after that when you can put the cart back together and it can be played with.  With the exception of room temperature water, all supplies are included. After following the instructions and putting the candy in the fridge for a few minutes, the kids were able to nosh on their new candy creation.  Harley and MaKynzee had a blast with Foodie Surprise and have already requested more for their birthdays.

I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
